As a company and as a family we have always had environmental and animal rights issues at heart.
Precisely following the growing concern for the deforestation of Asian areas by multinationals, aimed at the intensive farming of palm trees for the production of oil for the energy market (biodiesel), food and cosmetics industries (although more marginally with waste from primary processing), we have started selecting raw materials NOT derived from palm oil in order to produce PALM FREE cosmetics.
Where this was not possible because the alternative raw materials simply have not been developed yet or do not provide the same performance level, we have opted for producers who adhere to the sustainable palm oil platform: that is why some of our specialities display the PALM FREE logo, others the PALM FRIEND.
